OUTFIT: Casual with a Twist in London

A very casual look while shopping in London! (do you know where I am? a little side-street right near the TopShop) I'm wearing a casual look (and flat shoes) since I anticipated on having to go back with about 10 shopping bags (no Lie!)

Oh, the Twist part in the "Casual with a Twist"; I emphasized this look on having a low silhouette, everything that happens in this look happens far far far below the waist! The length of the coat, the bag, the rolled up trousers, the socks and Miista Studded Rula shoes. Also this kind of silhouette styling gives a "body proportion distortion" that Designers like Marc Jacobs and Phillip Lim love so much! So basically by playing with the "proportion distortion" you create an effortlessly Posh "designer" look wearing H&M only!

OUTFIT: Winter Whites

It's still Fall but secretly I'm already longing for this Winter with it's snow, hot chocolate, layers and layers of knitwear, ice-skating and all that other Winter fun. I guess it's because it became really cold the past week and it's getting really early dark in the evenings, sadly instead of snow there is lots and lots of rain, rain and gray skies but even that has it's charm!

OUTFIT: Lace, Leather, Cuffs and Gloves

Some subtle creativeness styling-wise today, I layered jewelry (cuffs) on top of the gloves (I am a layering maniac after all so not even gloves are safe) and another subtle modifying is in the Zara skirt, the skirt is a long (floor) length skirt with slits on the sides (yes, I have the same skirt in white too!) So I simply folded/draped up the skirt and tucked it in for a wrapped mini effect.

.. except for the fact that I sleep with a Teddy Bear, shedded some tears when I watched this, giggled when I saw this, aww-ed when I saw kitten vids curled up on the couch wearing PJ's eating vanilla ice cream with M&M's then OMG'ed and fell of my chair when I saw this chocking on the M&Ms then watched it again (Iz tookz a wrongz turnz on You Tube) besides all of that Imma bad assz with ma Cat Earzzz... yeah....not really

Mongolian Fur and Leather (Jacket and Skirt) are totally my rotation items right now, I just love the combination so much! For the longest time (a few years ago) I was bidding on a Mongolian fur vest similar to this one and I lost :( I was so upset! This one is actually a fake fur from the H&M but the quality is pretty good for fake fur. I think Mongolian Fur vests are made to be styled with leather jackets!

Wearing my new Miista boots! I'm so happy to finally have boots that are gold but still have an edge to them to gently roughen up pretty looks and it's so nice to have a pair of boots that are different from your every Zara boots and shoes! 

The boots look awesome paired with pretty lace dresses and soft silk slips but go very well with opulent dark greens, blues and blacks, dark tweets and grainy textures, so they are perfect for this seasons darker trends as well, I kind of know that since I already paired the boots with about every outfit I own, haha, Oh the pleasure of having new shoes ^_^

OUTFIT: New York Fashion Week Day 2

Outfit New York fashion week Day 2 in front of Lincoln Center when going to the Rebecca Minkoff show! 

I was wearing an old H&M dress (I like to call it vintage H&M) Yara from thischicksgotstyle, who took the photos and has been my fashion week buddy (staying together in the Hotel) styled my hair before going to the shows, making soft curls, I can't believe it was only 5 min work! 

After the shows we had a proper hang out with the Australian felt bloggers, Nadia and had a run-in with loads of familiar faces, I guess thats the best part about the Fashion Weeks! getting to see everyone again!

Fun Date

 

I had a fun get together with bloggers Yara and Cindy for lunch, blog stuff (arranging the fashion weeks) and shopping! and shopping I did, nom nom nom.. We also bumped into Zanita, It was so much fun finally meeting her!

I ended up drooling over Yara's studded flats and A-Wang Marion bag and Cindy's Isabel Marant boots! Me myself went for a easy look (knowing I would end up shopping and tossing around loads of bags) An easy dress with a sweater and simple All Stars!
