I bought some magazines at the airport when flying back to Europe; the French Vogue, Vanity Fair, Allure and New York magazine. Really can't live without these! Bought the Prada infusion d'iris eau de parfum at the Bijenkorf's "drie dwazen dagen" today (since it's on special discount today only...swoon..) I truly adore this scent but I don't think its for everyone, I would describe the scent as a powdery floral.I was lucky enough to come home to 3 packages, one of which a big box from Lucette!! One of the goodies inside were these open toe brogues made out of leather and suede.. Seriously, these are genius and have a beautiful fit, they are both perfect for hipster as well as very tailored looks with and without socks, I can't believe I didn't think of open toe brogues before!!xoxo

DIY tights,
I'm so exited about my "DIY or Die" feature in October's Vogue Girl Korea!!, together with bloggers park and cube, anywho, 4thandbleeker, Kingdomofstyle, and Lovemaegan and their amazing DIY's!
muchos thanksos Vogue Girl Korea!! :)
My diy featured in the magazine is the diy bejeweled tights, posted long ago here and photographed by Maya, back then I never posted the tutorial, so here it is..... finally....:)
Bejeweled Tights Tutorial
What you will need;
black sheer tights
needle + thread
scissors
swarovski stones, black and clear
Wear the tights, as it will be easier to work with.
Start with cutting a tiny hole in the tights, in the middle of front as high as you want the shredding to begin.
After you cut the hole, with careful pulling the tights will start running,
Pull the holes out horizontal, making large and wide gabs,
Around the wide gabs you can now start sewing on the swarovski's, placing them in clusters around the gabs, make sure you really attach them thoroughly, you can continue to sew on the swarovski's until you run out of money to buy the lil' bastards :)
E Voila :) you can now treat yourself quilt free to a cigarette, a candybar and new shoes, you deserve it :)

Just an Inspiration post, Editorials from so-en (april 2009), and Li Edelkoort's Bloom.
I spent a lot of time in the Japanese bookstore, love the magazines, and love their Editorials.
And then the Bloom! like the View on Colour (sadly they stopped publishing :( are my bibles, my desires, I want them all haha and they are massive expensive.. but Li Edelkoort is a true Genius! So when ever possible I'll go and treat myself for a magazine (I really want the back issues too)
I hope and shall do my best to expose you all as much as possible to her work lol.. especially the View on Colours are really good and I'm so happy I have a few..
On another note.. I'm still busy with my tights :) and have decided to, when I finish them to give them away, because I fucking hate it when fashion/art becomes fucking unobtainable.. What the fuck are Marc, Karl and whoever thinking? for who the fuck are they designing? certainly not for their so called fucking muses because hey, the fucked up artist, the grunge rockstar or tainty model has no fucking money!.. its a marketing campain running and thats it, they need to become fucking real! so I refuse to charge a fucking 150 dollars for my tights, because calculating materials and time that would be it and they will not last, tights have no long life by all means..
But I will do a whole post about it and hope other designers are willing to join in :) I was thinking a la "haute for free" or "couture giveaway" whatever.. please let me know if you guys are up for it...
